5 things I learned while travelling by myself

One of my biggest achievements of 2017 was travelling by myself. I can't say it's something I've always wanted to do, but this year has taught me that if I always wait for other people, I will never do the things I want to do. My first solo travel adventures took me to Malta.

Sweater Weather

It is well and truly sweater (or jumper) weather here in the UK. We had an unseasonably mild day last Friday and the clocks went back an hour on Sunday signalling the official end of summer. As the clocks changed, so did the weather. The sun is still shining and it's not raining (yet) but it's definitely a lot colder.

Season Transition: Mustard + Stripes

As mentioned in my previous posts (here and here), my summer staple this year were my striped trousers from Zara. I wore them several times, for so many different occasions. I just couldn't bring myself to stop wearing them when the weather turned a bit colder; so, what do you do when you're not quite ready to stop wearing your summer clothes? Just add a jumper!

Dressed down, I paired the top with a midi skirt, gold lace up sandals and a vintage brown bag for a chic daytime look. I've actually had the bag for a long time (first shown here) - the thing I love about vintage pieces is that they are often timeless and can be worn over and over again for a long time xo

Here is the white off shoulder top that I mentioned in my previous post where I was showcasing the same top in pink - yup I loved it that much! Summer is coming to an end in the UK but I'm holding onto those few days of sunshine we have left.

Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser

I have combination skin - so I have an oily t-zone and the rest of my skin is dry. For the longest time it was hard to find a moisturiser that worked for me.
